What a wonderful book! I found it to be true, because the analysis of father-daughter relationship will be postponed if the daughter marries. It is true that a man his father and his mother and his wife (Gen. 2:24) - leaves a wife must do the same. As a meat-the bride and groom must be a "guaranteed to give everyone else."
I have downloaded this book in one sitting - I could not put it down. This book questions the idea that we will protect our daughters against everything and everyone, by saying that we are on the baton passes to the new son-law guardian and protector of the girl. Thus, it is hard to let go, it is a biblical response to their declaration of love for each other.
There are examples of how the author deals with his daughters, and the loss of role as protector - and how it is with relationships and builds with his sons and daughters. The family is growing that the father can drop and so his sons and daughters in the right place in the lives of his daughters step - as it moves from daughter to wife.
An excellent book with a great understanding of what makes the couple works together, good tip (prayer) hooks and come in "families of origin" in their path. A how-to plan for the in-laws to make the necessary space for the new couple, their own way!
Step back so that the new man, after all, if he is good enough for them to say yes, you do the same.
Biblical and good advice! Definitely a page-turner!
